Equipment introduces a revolutionary new concept in alarm point wiring.
AVE's Video Alarm Transmitter/Receiver module encodes three alarm points
into the visible or non-visible portion of a standard video signal from
any camera and sends it down the coaxial cable eliminating all twisted pair
wiring. At the central monitoring location, AVE's VART decodes the alarm
points and allows them to be wired into any alarming device. Up to five
VARTs can be cascaded to allow up to 15 alarm points to be transmitted down
a single coaxial cable. All alarm points are independently jumper selectable
for Normally Open or Normally Closed alarm outputs, regardless of the alarm
input type. Alarm outputs are updated or changed in the Vertical Internal
Interval.
The low power, compact VART allows for easy mounting with a remote camera and can usually operate from the camera power. The VART is fully compatible with fiber optic, laser and microwave transmission systems, making alarm point encoding into these systems finally cost- effective. The VART signal can also be recorded on any standard or Time Lapse VCR, and can be played back later through a VART for a low cost method of alarm point encoding, reporting or searching. American Video Equipment's VART combination module will save installation costs and add a multitude of new features to your security systems. AVE offers two models to choose from; an attractive black anodized aluminum case for ceiling, wall, or table mounting and a circuit card for mounting into the AVE 16 card rack cage.
